My mom, Sherry, has spent over four decades serving others as a nurse. She’s a dialysis RN, and at 63 years old, she still shows up every day, kind, strong, and selfless, putting her patients before herself.
She has four more years until she can officially retire, but I want to give her that time back now, so she can spend it with her grandchildren, travel while she still can, and finally pursue her true passion—teaching.
Sherry has always dreamed of teaching nursing at a college. After a lifetime of hands-on experience, she wants to give back by guiding the next generation of nurses, passing on the wisdom, compassion, and resilience that have defined her entire career.
Sherry is the kind of nurse who makes you feel like family, the kind who stays late to make sure her patients are comfortable, the kind who carries the emotional weight of others and still smiles through it all.
Now, it’s our turn to care for her.
I’m raising funds to help Sherry retire early and finally enjoy the peace, freedom, and purpose she’s spent her entire life giving to others. If a nurse has ever made a difference in your life, or if you simply believe in giving someone the break they’ve earned, please donate or share this.
Let’s help Sherry trade her scrubs for a suitcase, a classroom, and a few sticky hugs from her grandkids. She’s earned that, and so much more.
